Romée specialises in civil litigation at both the national and the international level. Before a case goes to court, and where possible to avoid going to court entirely, she regularly advises on matters of contract law and procedural law, with a focus on distribution, franchising and agency matters.
Her clients operate in lines of business as diverse as foodstuffs, electronics, farming and horticulture, IT and insurance.
Romée started her career at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and later moved to Rutgers & Posch.
Romée is a member of the Dutch Association of Distribution, Franchise and Agency.
She is registered to practise the following principal (and secondary) areas of the law in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas: general practice, civil law. According to the standards of the Netherlands Bar, she is required to record 10 CPD credits every year for each principal legal practice area for which she is registered.
